I have been following this thread and watched TAC last Sunday. One show 00 Heaven, was uncensored but it was only 1/2 hour of the full nights viewing. I've got cable so I have to ppv, I was thinking of watching tonight but is it still only one show that's hardcore or are they showing more yet? If it's only one show, how do you know which one it is?

Thanks in advance

It's usually the first show after midnight - but they are obviously testing the water so anything could happen. They might get stamped on today and have to stop - or, they might harden their whole schedule - who knows!

It will be interesting tonight, which is TAC all girl night. The only stuff they have shown uncut has been lesbian, apart from the intro to UK Vice Girls.

I have no idea if TVX are showing any more explicit stuff. They don't do a one night pay per view and I don't want to subscribe.

Anyone been watching over the last couple of nights?

What interests me is some of the TAC shows have never been certificated by BBFC for UK release even though hardcore versions are shown on Spice Platinum.

Is showing non BBFC material a serious offence anymore? Paul, over to you!

Heathray, the Video Recordings Act does not apply to television, if it did then most programmes would require a BBFC certificate before they were broadcast which does not happen.

That being said the ITC guidelines which do apply very much to television use the BBFC certificates as bench marks. So although the programmes do not have to be censored by the BBFC before going out the broadcasters are expected to apply equivalent censorship themselves.

Unfortunately - or fortunately depending on how you look at it, the ITC programme code can best be described as obscure and contidictory leaving a large scope for interpretation. I would imagine that in this area the code has now been interpreted to death.

The next month or two will determine if Ofcom realy is a light touch regulator.
