Really sorry to say this at a distressing time but a couple years ago I was met with derision and disgust for daring to charge a fee (to cover model costs of two established models who agreed to do it) for those wanting to get into the adult industry via UKAP

It amazes me to read the rip off stories and fees involved when we were offering the same thing at a fraction of the cost

SohoJiveboy, if you want to do something like this you are better to use the services of a girl who will agree to let you film it as it will cost you a lot less. If its for private use you wont need to ask for releases to be signed and i.d but the problem is, if you were to catch anything nasty you wouldnt know where to contact them to inform

Common sense is always that you should never need to pay to sign up for any job in any industry so concluded was a scam

Wise words if you don't know the people or how to contact them but in my case, my emails in my sig and everyone (well most) know me or UKAP and if you dont like anything, a quick belly ache on here usually gets a quick response.

Hi,

Interesting thread. I recently had some experience with this outfit and have joined specifically to comment on it. It would be good if people could come across this before they bother to even reply to the advert so that they don't waste their time and especially not their money.

I went down to London for an interview. I met a man called Peter who interviewed me in a cafe supposedly next to their studio. Now why if they are genuine do they not have a space to conduct interviews? Wouldn't it make sense if they are genuine that they would let you see so by letting you into the studio? A cafe is a pretty inappropriate place to discuss the role. He claimed to be a film editor and very busy so why was he conducting the interviews?

He said that they get 400 applicants a day and the computer picks just 4 at random. I had applied before and got through but didn't follow it up. This would be very unlikely (but not impossible) if what he said was true. it gives you the feeling that you are in fact very lucky and shouldn't turn the chance down.

I was offered the job and told I'd be doing 1 film a week for ?450 and that I'd get a lot of royalties on top. This would last 4 a year. If this is the case why do they need so many new performers? Once you got into this you wouldn't be giving it up. Lots of money for sex with beautiful women beats any other job I could get so again why do they have to recruit constantly? It doesn't add up.

Lots more things he said look like confidence moves. He often referred to the fact that many doctors, lawyers, even judges were on their books. This just gives the veneer of respectability to the whole thing.

He mentioned that I would be taking my co-stars back to my hotel afterwards regularly and that I could make lots of money on the side with offers from couples to service the wife after they've seen the films.

All the films were with 2-3 more girls than males. This isn't the usual ratio in most porn films and if as he said girls were 3 times as expensive then why do it like that?

I got a contract through the post a few days later. It didn't mention anything about being paid directly for the films nor did it have pictures of the girls I was supposed to be able to choose from for my first film. I emailed them my enquiries and got a call back. The pictures were missing for some reason but would I come down to London for a photo shoot, they could sort the girls out then--?200. They said if I could find my own photographer they could do it that way.

Anyway, I had always had it in my mind that the whole thing could be bollocks and knew that any asking me for money was not legitimate. I sent them an email to test them by saying that I couldn't afford it but they could take the money out from my fees for the first film. Unsurprisingly, I haven't heard back. They were always prompt getting back to me until that point.

Whether or not there is any genuine film making going on or not I think the weight of evidence here and in my own experience is that the whole thing is very dodgy and to be avoided. I was going to London anyway that day so all I did was waste some of my time but the lure of sex and money is a perfect combination for ensnaring the unwary into giving over money. I imagine that they are clever enough to have themselves covered legally. You do after all sign a contract.

If they really did need those promotional pics though they could just snap them as you made your first film.

Anyway, I hope this helps and it would be good if people could find this thread from a google search so that when they check it out initially they can see what it is all about.

As I have told everyone here before: we must be together and take these buggers to the court and we can win. I have done a few things so far, and I had a video shot with a girl that had the same experience with them. They seem to use girls as prostitutes, or call girls.

Leslie, unrelated to Amature fun do you have any experience in the adult industry. I'm looking for some advice and maybe some connections

Marrillo, you come across as some one with a grudge and the term Malicious comes to mind.
An apology for the devil... it must be remembered that what you read in forums is only one side, I suppose you can't please everyone. I suppose , had they changed their rules just for you and granted you your requested, you will never come to this forum.
I don't recognize some of the comments made here in my past experience with them and I am not afraid to say so.

With the exception of some Lemmings, I hope most fare mined individuals will see your comments for what it is.

SOME ONE HAVE TO SAY IT AS IT IS.

As I said in my last comment last year, I have worked with this people before my tour to Afghanistan with my regiment and will be happy to work with them again if am selected. And like you, I was given the option to get my photo shoot done elsewhere, at a place of my own choosing but I chose instead, to have my done at the studio and they also gave me copies of my shoot as they do with all the films. And I am sure they give copies of both shoots and films to all performers who made it through and not just me.

Every organisation (small or large) have a system and methods which they work with, perhaps to deter time wasters and losers, and if you don't like it then move on and find another place to work but not engage in spreading false comments in a forum.

Have any one actually bothered to check the rules for posting comments on this forum?.

I will forward the link of this forum to amateur fun studio, perhaps they will do something as clearly some of the comments on this forum have breached the rules set out by BGAFD and may even be libellous.

I would recommend to put an ad here, I do the same. I have had only one shot so far, but expecting another one soon. Anyway, there are some helpful producers around here and they can give you some useful advice.
