As Jim Slip has already said, the power of the show lies in the editorial team, I've been on things where I've said some really positive things about people but it was edited to sound really nasty or snide.

Best just to avoid these kind of shows and newspaper articles.

Hi OEJ,

Whilst I personally don't like the c word, I can well understand Andy's use of it when referring to Kyle.
A man who uses the vulnerable, the afflicted, the addicted and the psychologically damaged for entertainment, deserves nothing more than derision.
Kyle's show and others like it, are the modern day equivalent of opening up the asylums for public entertainment.

Wow Cate you go,lol. When you look at it like that then yes there are worse things, but then again they don't understand and yes you are right all the people who didnt agree with it were older. The younger males in the audience looked glued to the topic in hand, and it will of been in their hand once the got logged onto the net.

Well said Cate.

I was just coming back from the shops today and two girls were breaking bottles all over the pavement for kicks.

I'd rather they were doing something else which where they weren't affecting or hurting anyone else.

The attitude to porn and female sexuality is extremely backwards as it's still acceptable for a man to date a woman 20 years younger than him but if a woman does this, she's called a cradle snatcher.

I notice these articles and magazines rarely feature male models and the only time I've seen an article based upon a male model was Steve Hooper's article where his financee found out he was his job - but the spin was almost "look at the stud I landed".

Instead of realising women have sexual needs and urges like men, and young women are happy to be naked on beaches, in magazines, on the net and on film; television and film want to portray their involvement in porn as "I've been duped / drugged / etc".

The UK media still believe women are the victims in all porn films when in fact many are enjoying themselves.

Until a show does that article, all models should avoid these shows.

Hey Andy, its all good.

I dont care much for Jeremy Kyle but I am not quick to think this about him as I do like Ross Kemp On Gangs and some may see his coverage of that type of material as being similar showcasing poverty, violence etc.

Both are in similar warzones of reality.

I just cant get my brain around why people would want to embaraas and expose themselves in this way on national television and thats precisely what the producers rely on and probably why they are cynical that everyone who goers on tv shouldnt be paid because of all the free exposure.

It kinda makes everyone look bad really.
