Donkeywork:
Of course this thread is getting boring. It is one of those subjects that comes around periodically trying to attack UKAP for the state of the industry. Dont forget that you are part of this same thread that you accuse of being stale also
Maybe it might be constructive to attack us individually for our own product.
I dont need back up from UKAP as I'm a big lad and can handle myself (oo-er)
In all my years I have never heard a performer complain about the state of the market and all I hear from people on here are complaints and if they ever make a suggestion, its already in effect anyway.
As Ive said (and Gaslight too), we do talk to a variety of people who are not members of the producers forum and we all have our own customers we listren too as well. Its worked for me (and us) for years.
If you feel porn is becoming stale then maybe thats you as an individual. Surely out of all the millions of scenes and sites out there something must get you going?
No doubt like everyone else you are producing what you feel is different and more what you want to see then another customer comes along and says the same thing as you.
Can you see a pattern forming here?
Music is stale. Movies are stale. TV is stale. Its all subjective to opinion isnt it?
To someone else it might be the most exciting thing until they get bored of it as well.
Footnote: Actually a couple of other producers have commented on this thread. If it was done properly and you really wanted a varied response to this then maybe you should just go to
www.ukadultproducers.com
If anything I would say the producers forum is a lot more positive than what I am reading here.
It has audio interviews with talent and producers, articles, information and advice on all things from health to post production.
If that isnt open with a positive impact on helping the industry, I dont know what is.
The reason we wouldnt accept you as a producer at this stage Donkeywork is simply because a lot of people say the same thing and have nothing to show and just want to come in for whatever their motives are.
We've experienced this so forgive us if we are a bit cautious this time out. the definitions is laid out in who can join? (right there on the home page)
When you ar eproducing for all else to see that you are you are more than welcome to come along to a meeting and join up if you like.
You sound like a man with a bit of fire in his belly. Thats got to be good.
