Renee...

I dont produce adult material for sale, however i am a media student grad from 1999 and to produce a 30-40 minute scene, complete with a hard and soft 150-180 second trailers plus a teaser trailers, and an intro, Which is what i would produce for a short film, I personally would require around 60-80 minutes raw footage for the scene, 10 minutes raw footage for the hard trailer, 7-10 minuteas fro the soft trailer, 10 minutes for the intro of the girl and 10 minutes for the teasers, maybe a lil bous cut, or outtakes like viv thomas Does,

Think Skeeter Kercove of whatever his name is, the girl is in the scene for about 3 minutes with him, where he introduces her, comments on her, checks her out etc etc, but he's not actually in the scene, he just intros the stud and the girl, she maybe just another scene or she maybe a feature scene, but be prepared.

If it was for the web, I would have 2-4 trailers to help promoting it, Roughly id say i REQUIRED 2 hours of actual footage, from fully clothed, stripping, to money shot, which would require including 'faffing' with lights, make up, hair, and stills would take 3-4 hours, not allowing for any major screw ups, so lets say 3 1/2 - 4 1/2 hours.

If you have the skills to edit 60 minutes of raw footage into 30 minute scene with trailers, previews and the lot, Sorry love but your in the wrong job, I would suggest working for the Pixar or Dreamworks for ?250-500,000 a year.

Again i'm not a producer of hc content, so maybe some more experience can knock some time off this or maybe they would reuse content, but id like to 'additional' content from the shoot, as the Web Edition maybe a 'cut' version to 20-30 minutes and the DVD version maybe a "Directros Cut" and be 30-40 minutes., My training tells me to plan for that, hense the extra content to the package scene id do.

As Renee has said, models shouldn't sell themselves short! If you're providing a professional service you should be remunerated accordingly, as in any industry.

Unless the performer is contracted it is unlikely he/she will receive any kind of royalties for their efforts on the day of shooting on the continuing and long term revenue generated from the sales of the product. This therefore needs to be factored in and reflected in the models fee.

Obviously if a pro model is being booked for a block booking of 4/5 scenes then there is a case for negotiation and a block price is usually agreed that will invariably be discounted.

With regard to expenses, again I would agree with Miss Richards. You can't surely expect a model to travel half way round the country and not cover or at least contribute to their costs... they would in effect be doing the scene for nothing if that was the case!

As far as guys go, the rates for beginners &or amateurs are around ?200 +exp per scene. The Pro's rates are pretty much on par with the ladies as indicated by Renee.

In my experience the professional production houses who invest in high-end production values have no qualms paying the performers rates to get the scene they want.

I hope this sheds some light on the issue.

WOW what a load of old cock on a simple thread.

Renee it is nice to be able to pay the fees you state, but not all productions have that kind of budget.

All producers should speak to the model they want to book explain the criteria and agree on the price. If the model is not happy then don't take the job.

And why should I pay ?400 a scene, when the so called model turns up in just the jeans she is wearing some dirty un matching underwear and has two scenes to do. Then they moan my arse is sore as I have done seven jobs this week. Therefore wasting my time scene and money.

I have always paid well, covered travel, fed and watered well. and pay for hotel locations, which I iknow alot of producers dont pay as I seem to be a free hostel for people working in London area for other producers.

Ok so i may not have been though all the threads on this post but going by renee's rates
am I value for money or cheap as chips?
Ive always charged ?150 for g/g ?250 for b/g and ?300 for b/g including anal and thats for a day not per scene!!! and im not going to up my rates either cos i want to stay value for money and not help towards making the european girls more popular cos of them being cheaper!!

on some of my shoots though i am quoted a set fee by the producer which i like also as im sure i am sometimes taken advantage of by the not so professionals out there. but so far ive not been ripped off
