er....no....that is not what I said at all, you have to learn to walk before you can run.

Where is the validity in knowing that a p-frame uses motion vectors to calculate the difference between itself and the frame before when you are at the level of using basic A-B editors?

As for my output? Well I started out on a BVE600 low-band Umatic deck. I bet you don't even know what that is let alone how to edit it?

umatic was pioneered widely on abc news features back in the day when video was breaking through and you are correct i have never edited on or to it probably because smaller british producers could only dream about umatic let alone work with it. but whilst you are on lets talk about dvd5 and how much you pay per unit. what about wraps or do you create wraps in house and how do you feel about chapter authoring and do you feel the customer enjoys dual page menus. please tell us how much you pay for dvd5s?

"dvd5 and how much you pay per unit" - too much, really eat into my profit

"what about wraps" - I think Fiddy is OK

"how do you feel about chapter authoring" - best done on a Word Processor using the 'Courier New' font

"do you feel the customer enjoys dual page menus" - yes but Chef says its too much to cook and you get so much food wastage......

think that was probably the answer most expected as once again yet another of the am-cams that growl louder than their bite runs and hides behind silly replies when they hit a question that would reveal their true status. read my sig and either post us the url to your wondefull masterpiece and contribution to british porn or change your username in shame

I couldn't have said that any better Brother Blue, some people on here are a flash in the pan so don't worry as they come on here with their technical
skills preaching whats best & we humour them & make them feel good.
I've always used Pinnacle for my editing & why not, i'm still in the business after 10yrs with a download site thats doing well & a B.A.F.I.A. winning film under my belt so why mend something thats not broke? yes i'm a am-cam & proud of it like lots of other amateur film makers who are doing quite nice in a very unsteady UK market. where else can you spend ?150 (Am) or 15 000.00 (Pro) & still make the same money as both films sell as well.

Don't quite see how revealing how much I pay for a DVD5 reveals my identity? I mean any one-legged man with an eye patch and a parrot knows you can get them for pence.

As for the other questions - I don't offer a duplication service so don't have a need for wraps. Likewise I'm not an one-legged man with an eye patch and a parrot.

Chaptering? Very important and not to be overlooked, has to be done right.

Menus? Clients choice and dependant on content required. One is usually sufficient for my clients needs.

All you are looking to do Burt is to call my bluff - problem is you can't. You've tried to do so and failed and made yourself look very very stupid.

You are a nothing.
