Jeanie Foundation - Company Type: PRI/LBG/NSC/S.30 (Private, limited by guarantee, no share capital, section 30 of the Companies Act)
Please refer to
Chapter 4
Exemption from using the word 'limited' in a company name
1. Which companies use 'limited' in their name?
Private Limited companies must normally include the word 'limited' or its abbreviation ?ltd? or the Welsh equivalents 'cyfyngedig' or ?cyf? as part of their company name. However, under Section 30 of the Companies Act 1985, some company names do not need to include the word 'limited' if they satisfy the conditions explained in question 2 below.
2. What kind of company can be exempt from using 'limited' in its name?
To be exempt:
- a company must be a private company limited by guarantee;
- the objects of the company must be the promotion of commerce, art, science, education, religion, charity or any profession;
- the memorandum or articles of association must say that any profits, or other income, are to be spent in promoting the company's objects; and
- the company must not pay dividends to members.
JEANIE FOUNDATION
Re: JEANIE FOUNDATION
dude, in another post twisteruk posted he/she/they were going on holiday. I know they aren't the same person but I think we can safely assume she (JEANIE) is on holiday too.
Even though they aren't the same person, and post minutes apart, and bump each others threads...duh!
With regards to David's post I've received one reply from them (the GLOVE project) but it was vague and didn't answer exactly what I asked, mainly about JEANIE's 'donation' so I've emailed again. Luckily they're very helpful so I'm sure we'll be able to expose her as a lying fraud soon enough.

Jeanie,
You haven't answered my questions! I'll sumarise them again for you: Were the parents of the children whose photo you posted on here, ok with them appearing on a porn site (ie your site as well as bgafd's) and would the school you work at be ok with having photos of their children appearing on a porn/adult site?
I await your response with interest.

Hi Anna,
Unfortunately you're probably right.
Putting a photo up of children on a porn site (or any site for that matter without parental permission) is indefencible.
There are many established and reputable children's charities in need of money and resources, why not support those?

For Naomixxx
Hi Naomi,
I have started a thread in the Promotions forum to try and highlight the concerns that Welshmorph, MP3 and yourself among others have raised in this thread and not yet had answers to.
Cheers
David

Re: JEANIE FOUNDATION
Naomi just to add to your point, I have to sign a form at the beginning of each school year to give my permission for photographs of my child to appear on the walls of the school, I as a parent would never consent to pictures appearing on a porn site, in fact I would sue if I found that happening.
So I hope jeanies has some parental consent forms completed with signatures.
I am sorry to say I have found the whole thing from start to finish distasteful and frankly I dont believe a single word of any of it.
If I am wrong I will wholeheartedly apologise
