I never said lawler was better than ventura, although if i had to chose it would be very close, and I would put lawler ahead of him, and i say that with a straight face.

Yes Grishom is awful, as is Steve(real name Todd) Romero.

Michael Cole( real name Shaun Colthard) sucks as well and always has done.

Coachman failed and I do agree that they have to start to find somebody who can actually do this job with some degree of compitency.

aw man yer fucked up. You can say many things about Ventura and Heenan but they had a larger act than years of shouting puppies.

Wow who would ever have thought wrestling could evoke such strong emotions and opinions. I just hope that one day The UK can again put forward a product that is based on UK talent that is good enough to watch at saturday tea time.

LDN, which is a London based promotion that uses no forgien talent at all, will be airing on TWC in September. I've read so many good things about it. And the owner is such an amazing man too.

I have been a fan of the WWE in the past, but I don't think its all that any more. Have always loved ECW but now its just a product of the WWE.

I went to the WWE live events a few months back, it was crap!!! the only decent match worthy of watching was Rob van Dam on the cards.

If you really want to see some real great action and proper wrestling, check out the UK promotion 1PW (1 Pro Wrestling) based in the Yorkshire region, they hold an event every 2 months or so. In October they will be celebrating the 1st Aniversary show. There is FWA which has produced a few good British wrestlers these past few years. 1PW has a great talent rooster and a mix from around the world, featuring talent from England, Scotland, Germany, America, Canada, and Japan.
1PW has been hiring some of the best new and old school talent that are not contracted to the WWE. Many of the TNA stars from America are wrestling for 1PW, guys like AJ Styles, Abyss (who was the promotions first champion), Samoa Joe (the human submition machine), Petey Williams, Raven, Jeff Jarrett, Christopher Daniels - the fallen Angel, Christan Cage (Edge's brother), Ryino, Spike Dudley and many more... names from other promotions such as ROH (Ring of Honor) (US), NOH (from Japan) and FWA (frontier wrestling) have been used in inter promotion matches. Even the belts from these federations have been defended at the 1PW shows, such as the TNA title belts:- NWA (national wrestling allience) oldest belt in wrestling history, TNA X Division. ROH titles - Heavy weight and tag belts. Plus the 1PW belts currently held by Steve Corino (king of old school & former ECW wrestler) is the current champ, UK's Jonny Storm & Jody Fiesch are the first & current tag champs.

Bret the Hitman Hart has also apeared on the card for 1PW (just to say farewell to the UK fans), his nephews the next generations of Harts - Harry Smith (British bulldogs son) & Teddy Hart have appered on the 1PW events.
Lance Storm (former ECW & WWE wrestler) recently came out of retirement to wrestle for 1PW, Matt Hardy, Sandman, Sabu, Charlie Haas, Al Snow, Blue Meanie, Tommy Dreamer, Tracey Smothers, Chris Hamrick, Austin Aries, Sterling James Keenan, Doug Williams, Nigel McGuiness, Jay Phoenix, Jerry Lynn, Iceman, Darren Burridge/Colt Cabana (Team Shag), Ulf Herman, Masato Tanaka, Takeshi Morishima, Homicide, Spud, Darkside, Brisco Brothers, Bryan Danielson, Jimmy Rave, Matt Sydal, Roderick Strong, Jobber - Andy Boy Simmonz, PAC,.... are just some of the other names working with 1PW. at the next event former WCW/WWE star Dustin Rhodes (Goldust) is set to appear.

Just check out the 1PW website
If you get the chance to go to a live event, you won't regret it!! it is wrestling at its best. Much better than the rubish the WWE have to offer currently.

1PW is the deal!!!!!
