Alas I never made it into the army to serve my Country.
However I tried to do my bit.
Our friend who runs my yahoo club and offered some props for those pictures did the hard part.
We tried to help him out and furnished him with a bagful of pictures to take with him for morale.
You can read an account of how they helped here. Oh and the shiny boots quote is oh so apt.
He took a few pictures while on duty too which can be found in my yahoo group. It's listed here on BGAFD in the misc section.
And apparently its unofficial and quite probably not true, but made me feel like a million dollars - I got unofficial mascot status
