Tragic news.
Even as a forumite merely reading his posts, you get a flavour of his character, even if you haven't met him in person- a decent fella, as has been mentioned.
He seemed to enjoy this place, I'm sure there'll be a big forum in the sky for him to post on. God might let him be moderator now and again.
RIP Joe.
Well the old git went and...

did it...
From my rambling with joe both in person and on the net, I know Joe would not want us to remember him sadly, he would want us to be happy and carry on his good works, and help when we all can...
If we all do one thing for Joe, I think we should post / offer at least 1 helpful thing per day to somone who needs some help, this is what Joe was about, and i think he would be pretty happy to see this happen.
Its a sad day for many people, so from my brushes with joe, i am going offer my bit of advice, help, info each day, when i can in memory of him, i may even mention his name from time to time, when i tell people who to thank for the help i offered

Shit, what sad news. Never met him but read and enjoyed his constant and helpful advice. He contacted me a couple of times to help - you don't get that very often.
Rest in peace fella.
!sad!

It's sobering to think it was a year ago, that I met Jo and the Gang at the "Producers for a pint" meeting at Erotica and then went on to spend the next 18 hours binge drinking and partying.............and now he's gone. makes you think.

Sad news indeed and my condolences to Joe's family.
Joe told it as it is, but more important than that he also had time to help those outside the industry.
PKAY and Cenobitez have hit the nail on the head, and others would do well to follow Joe's example in memory of him. The industry will be a better place for it.

I never had the pleasure of meeting our departed friend, but did enjoy some banter on posts we made here.
I will raise a glass to his memory tonight.
