Well of course the main use of condoms was for birth control but with the coming of the pill they were becoming redundant so the manufacturers had to promote them for safe sex, the problem is condoms are not 100% safe and if some performers started to drop their guard with the certs in favour of condoms then these performers could be more at risk, a lot of girls are willing to do oral without a rubber but insist on protection for penetration and the rubber will have to come off for the pay shot, and where DPs or anal are involved there is always a chance of the condom splitting or coming off, so there is still a risk using condoms if they are not used along with up to date certs !rant!

Yes i agrre with that condoms should only be used with up to certs..either one on its own is no good but together they provide the best protection available at present for models.
Why only ask for certs knowing these are not 100%, its a big farce really with most producers using excuses that their porn wouldn't sell without even trying to do some condom movies.
We adapted to monthly certs so why not condoms as well if the health of our models is really important to us rather than half measures.
