You need to be careful uncle bob, you should either name the producer or post nothing at all because what your doing with your post is placing suspicion on every photographer and producer in the Manchester area.
Also you have posted all this on the basis of what a model has told you, you are trusting that what she has told you is truthful. If anyone should post then it should be the model herself. Sorry, but there is every possibility that she has either lied or exaggerated as an excuse to get out of a booked job (have heard of it happened before a model cancelled on someone last minute and said it was all cause a shoot she done day before for spanking the guy beat her too hard and it was all bs).
In one breath you say the model was beaten to a pulp, but then in the next you tell us she was perfectly able to get a taxi and get herself to the train station, so there is a standout example of this not adding up, she obviously WAS NOT beaten to a pulp.

Six billion verifiable stories of models being raped and abused !shocked!
More than a slight exaggeration there Em. Keep it in perspective, the actual statistics probably don't even come out at 0.001%

So what happens when working with the many photographers and producers who don't allow chaperones? the shoots where it's not possible for another body on set?
Should everyone in every job ALWAYS have a chaperone? After all, the official crime figures show that one of the most dangerous job is shop work (now consider that most shops have more than one member of staff and all sorts of cctv yet still shop staff are one of the most likely groups likely to be raped, assaulted or abused)

Yeah, but the thing is we're not interested in statistics. Here's a girl who has just been physically assaulted and I guarantee that had she been chaperoned, either a: the pervert in question wouldn't have gone ahead with the shoot, or b: when things started to get rough he would have been prevented from going any further. To this poor girl, one in a thousand right now probably feels like one in a hundred or one in ten. Sure, the actual amount of adult modeling-related rape and assault cases probably amount to no more than half a dozen a year, but you know.
Copied from another modeling forum, dated Sept 18th 2007:
"yesterday i was suppose to go for a shoot in glasgow this man said he wanted a 1 to 1 shoot as im from falkirk it was a fair distance to travell myself so my mum and a friend came for the train ride when we got to glasgow he said he could see me but told me to keep walkin down a st, but when he found out i had company he cancelled the shoot and said i need more confidence and maybe we could do it in a few months time, i dont understand mu mum and friend wernt coming to the shoot my mum just wanted to see who i was meeting as im only 18, shes quite protective and she has every right to be and also he put 25 in my bank accont for wasting my time, and complined tht he'd just lost ?45 on a studio when he cancelled in the 1st place, someone please tell me what you think as i met this man on here not sure if a should mention his name thanks! X"
Thankfully, crisis averted. Would it have been preferable for this girl to be alone? Is it worth the risk?

Not saying you shouldn't take a chaperone if that's what you want Emily. I'm just saying keep things in reality and don't exaggerate, making a comment about 6 billion rapes and assaults tends to give off an image about the industry and those that work in it that is unfair.
Yes even one single case is one too many, but the reality is it happens everywhere, there isn't a single job where it doesn't happen and so me I just think its unfair to single out modelling and say things like all models should always have a chaperone.
