Some of us did see through it for the publicity stunt that it was designed to be although I am a little surprised that it was Kelly Steele who wrote it but the industry people here would know far more about that than me.

As I said in a previous post that it was a clever marketing ploy provided it didn't backfire.

'Tongue' in cheek, lighthearted, publicity stunt or not, Jim Davidson and Bernard Manning have used these excuses for years, and I doubt they'd be as easily accepted on SB's site as the tripe on there at the moment.
