Only issue i have heard with BSH is when emailing you/them, lots of people say they have emailed you and had no reply, other than that no major issues i've heard...

I have seen the software used on a dozen different sites, which seemed wierd to me :) heh

While your answering stuff, no i havent actually emailed you, is the software you use Bazar and the sign up stuff, custom written or is it a modified script ? As i'm writting one from the ground up with PHP and MySQL :) and just curious.

ummmmmmm I noticed the coppermine and the forum, but didnt notice bazar was a stand alone app.

Just out of curiosity have bridged the 2 ? if you look on Coppermines site you can bridge the 2 systems so they share a member list, so sign up for 1 sign up for both kinda deal, rather than people signing up several times to each part, if you havent something to look into :)

I've built several directory style sites with front page, fusion, dreamweaver, using templates, css, frameworks the whole 9 yards, and nothing is flexible enough to handle mass traffic and rapid growth as well as offering real automation.

I spent the best part of a year trying various methods of building something workable and has scalability and a front end thats JUST that a front end and has no effect on the back, just doesnt work, so now i decided to just learn a new language (php & mysql), about 2 months ago and write it all from the ground up.

Exactly, and on OMP its very clear when the email is going to a manager.

Anyway, having taken Libby's comments on board I feel we should give M-H a new go. Maybe I will try and contact a model from there again and see what happens. If Andrew has truly gone then all could be well, but I do feel a bit worried that a model of Libby's experience was involved in M-H when Andrew was "performing his antics". I would have expected her to find what he was doing totally unacceptable.

However, if he is gone now then all well and good and as I say maybe modelheaven deserve another crack

I cannot and will not even attempt to change your opinion of MH except to say that I personally have not heard from Andrew since he sold the site to Kevin who is a photographer and as far as I know did not know Andrew in any capacity other that as owner of Model Heaven, which indeed was the only way I knew him too. I had no knowledge of all these accusations and received no complaints from any of the models although my direct email address was always given.

I have been personally threatened with physical violence from Be-Seen-Here. What kind of guy is he to threaten to beat up a 68 year old woman?

Is it any wonder I have no time for him?

I can only repeat that Andrew has no contact with Model Heaven now, nor Model Heaven with him. Most of the accusations against Model Heaven (the site, not Andrew) are false, as its members know.

Not one of you, to my knowledge has attempted to find out anything about Kevin the new owner or how things are run there.

Libby
