I will be there but the AITA which I am a member are focused on sex shops/toys etc... When Erotica can ban ETO ask yourself what power does any group have, They are nice guys and I respect most of them as longtermers who have the industry's health at heart but a few are in it for themselves and thats it.

The point of the producers dig is, it here come and see it,

Jim where does it cost ?10,000 to get involved and better still how much is a train to Brighton.

Jim,Unfortunately a train from the South of France to Brighton is about ?300! But I'd like to come anyway when I'm back in UK. I thought it cost ?10,000 to book a channel on IPTV?

Train from Nice is about ?90 return,, If someone was big enough to need a whole channel like TVX for eg then it would be more than ?10,000 but that would include encoders/servers and enough banwith to make everything back in two months,

i don't disagree with any of your reasons/justifications for setting up a private forum. in fact, i'm surprised it's taken so long to happen. nor do i see it's existence as conflicting in anyway with the bgafd forums. it might even make things a bit less complicated around these parts (ever the optimist!). however, i'd be very careful about allowing any 'naming-and-shaming' as some seem to think you will. whether the 'dirt' dished is fact or fiction, division and resentment will be the outcome and internal politics will dominate your forums rather than the 'real' issues you want to tackle. aside from which, it can cause much unnecesary upset to innocent people, as seems to be the case with a link posted only today.

i know it must seem like the forums are dominated by people who spend all their time grousing - particularly if you're on the receiving end - but it only SEEMS like that. the vast majority of forumites visit and use the forums because they are fans of british models/produce and that's reflected in the generally positive nature of their posts. it's human nature to hear voices which criticise more loudly than those offering compliments but to stop posting altogether seems disproportionate and rather defeatist. we try to moderate and maintain the forums to what we think is a reasonable standard of civility and we certainly would not wish to set a tone alienating to anyone in the industry. i guess some people have thinner skins than others - e.g. those models/producers who continue to post here on a regular basis and are very much appreciated for it. the fact is, without steadfast industry contributors such as yourself the forums would be severely diminished both in character and in meeting their primary purpose as a meeting place for all those with an interest in british adult entertainment.

We won't encourage any mudslinging behind the scenes for reasons you have outlined Woody but if a couple of producers want to have an all out slugfest, then I'm flogging ring side seats :-)

yes, it's worked out pretty much how we hoped it would - perhaps even a bit better. i thought there'd be more stray posts than there have been but up and running, it's not that complicated a concept.

You guys who run the BGAFD have to put up with a lot of shit from all of us, whether in the biz or a consumer, from posts here or private emails, and you do an amazing job of keeping on top of it all..

Could we ever leave you... The time was right to start the other forum for just the biz and hopefully in the near future, posts will appear here resulting from our starting to work together and help each other.... The BGAFD is the adult industries answer to "The Sun"... LOL
