Insinuating I'm stupid, ignoring my questions and now pointing out nobody like me. It's as if you're trying to make me cry.

Dear me.

When I first heard this I almost spat a cup of coffee across the room as less likely to happen than one of my premium bonds winning the top prize. So far I'm right and I've no reason to think it will happen any time soon.

Exactly.

Despite the UK being the 5th biggest economy in the world and the 6th biggest producer of manufactured goods with manufacturing taking up 12% of GDP we could produce much more reducing both imports and unemployment.
Just look back though some of my replies to other threads here on the OT forum for a few examples.

"Insinuating"

Insinuating? Not at all to be fair. I was merely pointing out directly the situation in which you would appear more stupid than I had previously thought.

I'm stupid"

No not at all. It was a compliment when I argued that you would be more stupid than I thought, if you believed an assumption, or in your case more a statement of fact, about war deaths based on a complete rewrite of world history i.e. instead of a British victory in the 1st World War, the German, Ottoman and Habsburg Empires were left unchecked, could be thought equally credible to my assumption that the Future Jobs Fund and Small Business Fund available on May 6th would be available on May 7th 2010 under Labour.

The fact that I believed in the possibility that you could more stupid than I already thought, should be a cause of rejoicing for you.

","

I have no comment on the comma, but if I wasn't nipping off to watch Newsnight I would come up with something.

"ignoring my questions "

No, not ignoring your questions to be fair. The validity of your assumptions based on a total rewrite of probably the most significant event in the 20th Century is beyond meaningful discussion outside a seance room.

"and now pointing out nobody like me"

I would have thought that "likes" would be a more useful choice in this phrase, to be fair.

No, I am not "pointing out nobody like me" . To be precise many on the forum may well love you deeply, but are just not arsed enough to respond to your posts. Do not assume love equates to responses to your post. Believe me.

"It's as if you're trying"

No I am not trying to do anything to be fair other than to illustrate the utter tedium of the Sam Slater approach to having a discussion which takes two sentences and extends them to the length of War and Peace, Ulysses and the Old Testament combined whilst not containing any of the quality of these books.

" to make me cry."

This is an Interweb forum to be fair. Emotional support is best dealt with via your doctor.

I feel sure you get my point.

PS How is the GCSE philosophical discourse option going? Tough eh?
