"the police failing to do something that could have determined time of death more accurately."

Yes one of the police mistakes was a failure to take the body temperature.

"another two women lived at the property but where they were that night never seems to be mentioned."

The two Italian women who lived there were away at the time.

Spider:

I am sure the 9/11 hijackers did consider they were at war. The bottom line is that unlawful enemy combatants do not benefit from the protection given in the Geneva Conventions, and certainly cannot expect to be treated like suspects in a normal criminal investigation. Did you expect SEAL Team 6 to obtain a search warrant before raiding Bin Laden's house?

as per JamesW post the other 2 women resident there were away at the time according to what i read today but apparently hired lawyers as soon as they found out about the murder at the property, something that Knox and boyfriend didn't do and proved to be a costly mistake? you can spend hours and hours trawling the net about this, most is just speculation. One theory is the bloke still in prison broke in but it was a robbery that went wrong when she reurned and he killed her.

That is certainly what the forensic evidence suggests happened and what many people said right from the beginning (although you mean burglary not robbery).

The rape seems to have been an afterthought, carried out after he had already slit her throat.

Arrogant, insulting and condescending - nice to see you've learnt from some of the companies who frequent the babechannels forum.

"Arrogant, insulting and condescending"

But truthful. The police handling of the forensic evidence was shown by an independent enquiry to contain 54 serious errors, not to mention that numerous other errors relating to other evidence were shown to have been committed by the police in this case. Plus the prosecution briefed the media on at least 7 different theories on what the murder motive was before conceding in court that in fact they had no evidence of motive.

I could go on.
