Keni, as was made clear in our original response to your concern that posts had been removed by us with the intention of distorting the arguments being made by yourself and others () this is absolutely not the case.

Why you have chosen to repeat this assertion we don't know but the fact is no such posts have been taken down. Just to repeat: three posts were removed, none of which were remotely relevant to the discussion taking place. An acknowledgement that this is the case would be nice.

Sorry, colonel but in future, if you wish to issue forth about long gone ex-members and related forums you can do so mano-a-mano, on their home turf. Having to trudge through the forum equivalent of a staring contest is more than moderating flesh can bear. Aside from which, we don't bar people only to have other members constantly breathing life into their non-existence.

BTW, railing against censorship elsewhere one moment and calling for it against a member of this forum the next is less than consistent. There's no point in calling for Mod rule if it's indistinguishable from mob rule, which is what some seem to have a taste for around these parts.

We're sorry you feel that way, Ace. Just to be clear the ex-members you refer to were not barred for their opinions but for ignoring our warnings about their behaviour and continuing to abuse the forums to suit their own ends.

We don't bar people for having controversial opinions unless they either come into conflict with the FAQ, or place an excessive burden upon our ability to manage the forums. And by that we mean, we are not going to spend hours of our lives pooper scooping after those who care for nothing other than excercising their inviolable 'right' to do whatever the hell they want regardless of the aggravation it causes us.

Sam please don't try and come across as being some sort of whiter than white dude who always does the right thing, especially when you are a MOD on "another forum" that appears to only be set up to mock, abuse and rant about quite a few of the "regulars" on here (behind their backs mind) - but you take great offence at the mere mention of your banned leader Captain Weezer & Co. - that comment should infact be made to all the "Mods" on the Huffers ... don't seek salvation on here whilst that sort of thing is ongoing and then claim that the "Mods" on here are "turning blind eyes" to anything.

Yes, and how we 'like it to be' does not involve removing posts to manipulate debate either in favour of, or against, individual members.

Evening all, I kinda wanted to sit back and watch this pan out, I haven't been around much for a while , but the thought of losing quality posters because of a guy who intentionally writes inflammatory, tabloidesque drivel to stir people up was more than I could bear lol.
If his threads end up with a massive number of posts and people feeling like they should leave surely he has achieved what he set out to achieve. It doesnt matter whether they hate you or love you all that matters is they are talking about you.
Yep the guy seems to be misogynistic from the way he painted women to be scheming tramps who wear sexy clothes to trap men, but mentioned nothing from the other perspective. It always annoys me when men try to defend abhorrent behaviour by blaming it on their dick, "I was aroused therefore I could do what I wanted because it was her fault." It's only a stones throw from there to women being covered head to foot. The way a person dresses is never an excuse for bad behaviour, whether thats "I hit him coz he was dressed different" or "I groped her because she was wearing a short skirt". So long as our society allows these feeble excuses people will always try to use them.
It seems to me if the quality members of the forum leave there will be less people to smash his silly posts to bits and make him look like the pudding he is. So I beseech and implore you all don't leave and allow the concentration of idiocy to rise.
