But then they also adhere to the tenets of a religion and thus are, by definition, insane.

Not only that, but their particular religion has built-in incitements to descend into murderous barbarity, which they tend to accept with relish.

I am a little alarmed by any person who adheres to a religion.

Anybody who adheres to that religion makes me somewhat fearful.

I know some folk who follow Islam, and don't think Osama or the Taliban are wonderful. These people fast during Ramadan, some have taken part in the Haj, and they live and work in this country and have never plotted to kill me, as far as I'm aware, because I am an infidel unbeliever.

Equating all followers of a religion as terrorists is like suggesting all staunch Catholics plant bombs at abortion clinics just because some fanatical morons do it in the States.

Generalise as much as you want, but it doesn't make you right.
