From the looks of the attendance for that movie it looks like a lot of people were gasping for a good drain dead action movie.

Sorry to rain on your bourgoise opinion Keith. it may be a brain dead movie but it still didnt spoil my enjoyment of it any less. Do you only ever watch serious movies then? I went to be entertained and entertained I was.

This could be said about even just going to the cinema in general. There has been plenty of Bond films but people go back to watch the new ones because they want to see what they have come to expect: Action, entertainment, hot chicks, locations, snazzy cars and gadgets. Same with Die Hard: the man in the wife beater vest, receding hairline, action and bad guys dying...well hard!

Actually I can run off a few Keith. Sex And Lucia was one I watched only last week. Black Book by Paul Verhoeven...Down Fall (again) the other week. Are yo insinuating I'm not intelligent enough to read subtitles on a moving image Keith? I hope not because we are moving dangerously on personal territory here.

I'm not as blinkered as you think. i was being cynical by bringing Merchant Ivory into this as I personally find their movies fucking dull. I was kind of expecting this kind of classy movie was what you alluded to. Obviously I was wrong. i wont belittle you by getting personal.

Still liked Die hard 4 though Keith. You didnt (and havent seen it) so lets just quit it. Whats the big deal? i probably like a lot of things you hate too so what?
