"It's one of the biggest conurbations in the world and you can't travel around at night."

But who would want to travel around London at night - what with these kinds of evil, savage, sociopathic, fuckers on the loose?

If that fucking loony wanker, Red Ken, was doing his job right, he wouldn't be leaning on ostensibly decent SUV drivers, he would be clearing the streets of this sort of lowlife scum, making it safe for decent, civilized, taxpaying citizens. I think most rational people would consider being set upon by brutal savages while traveling home to their family as a slightly more pressing issue than the possibility of a few more molecules of CO2 being produced by diligent hardworking folk who find they can afford a decent motor.

What were these fuckers doing here anyway? It doesn?t seem like they were British nationals. Did Red Ken invite 'em in?

He very probably did Officer, you see Ken is a publicity seeking whore, and as you so rightly say! if he were any good at his job, he would be making the streets of 'dat Lundun' safer for the brave but foolish folk who reside there, instead of trying desperatly hard to tax em 'ta fuck' based on thier choice of vehicle. One of these day,s the very rich will move out of London, and leave it to the vermin, and those who cant afford to leave! excuse my spelling for I am nowt but a cunt, ask Keith the mad monk who I suspect drives around London in a 12 seater hummer, and leaves the lights on all night.

A communist....hmmmmm.... maybe.
What do I drive? Is that a relevant question given that the thread is about congestion charges in London?

So if I counter a statement about the politics of envy you can call my response bollocks.
But if you repeat "So yes, it's the politics of envy - at least to a degree: "If I can't have one, no-one else should either". That's what Socialism of the brand espoused by Red Ken is all about." we are supposed to think "Oh What a wise clever man FlatEric is. I was so stupid to think I knew better than him. Silly me."
Well, my response is....Piss off!!!!!

And a very Merry Christmas to you as well, mart !grin!

Typical reasoned mart response - backed up as always with sound argument (rolls eyes). Though thanks for acknowledging my wiseness and cleverness - there may be hope for you yet, Old Son !wink!
