i find the oldest records in my collection are the most enduring....
i will rarely play tracks from the eighties ( my least favourite decade anyway ), nineties, or noughties.......

though i took the ready steady go / beatle psychadelic / underground rock / glam / punk / shoegazer road........i now routinely listen to pre beatle stuff like everly brothers, buddy holly......i love motown......

i taped the motown comps in 1982,i have got the 4 tops/the supremes hits on cd .

yeah.....you know, like you, i love a bit of prog and stuff but if you visit a bit of mo with a fresh head...you do start to realise how bloody marvelous it really was....certainly the most successful indie label of all time!
marvin gaye, mary wells, martha reeves, four tops, jimmy ruffin....my god!
