Oh, hes training nearby at Coventry City and wants to play for ?3k a week, now THATS more like it!!! His family are settled in nearby Stratford-upon-Avon (shakespeare bollocks) and wants to play at the city. If I was the manager, I'd pay ?3k out of my own pocket to secure his services. Rav IS class and DOES score goals. What happened to him at Derby was diabolical just because John Gregory didn't like him personally, but up till then he was banging them in. When he played at middlesboro, they were relegated, but he still scored on a regular basis and is STILL fondly remembered by their supporters for his playing as well as his charity work for kids hospitals up there.

Had forgotten about the tractor boys

Our OZ competition used to import some of the bigger name players for guest appearances in return for shed loads of cash.the only decent one from the british isles being George Best if I remember correctly.Alan brasil might have made an appearance or 2

Man U in decline...surely not...not with Norman Whiteside up front...lol
I wonder what hole he fell down...Mike Duxbury...champagne defending

At least their decline wasn't as bad as Liverpool in the Nineties
I've never seen a big club pic such an array of useless foreign & local players

I've got nothing against foreign players(Ravanelli and Zola especially) as the British Youngsters can only get better training with quality players.

My beef was with the overuse of them at the expense of the up and comers
To often you see young fringe players being loaned out, discarded or warming the bench rather than eased into a successful combination like they use to do not that long ago

cheers
