Re Michelle Collins.

As I remember, she wasn't around long. Just after it was revealed her boyfriend was much older than her, she disappeared. She wasn't around for very long.

She'll be wowing someone, somewhere now - I'm sure. Good luck to her.

Oh dear oh dear, ageist or what......I'll have you know that my girlfriend is a 36 year old ex Page Three, and a lot more besides, model (no I can't tell you who, sorry) and I garauntee that you would trample over the majority of the current crop of models and porn stars to get to her given the chance. A testiment to looking after yourself and leaving Columbian white stuff alone which is a lesson a lot of girls should learn.

Her much older boyfriend, Curly, died. She then took up with another much older bloke - Jay Silver who used to run a lingerie company called Silver Rose.

You lucky guy...seriously, when an ex-Page Threer in their 30s or 40s does some nude work [Jane Warner, Karen Kelly, Sue Simmonds et al] they invariably look damn good- and better than some models of today.

You might even say that al those names may have precipitated the onset of many girls coming into the adult industry today now it has expanded beyond page 3 to include FHM, Maxim, Girls Gone Wild etc.

It only makes sense that the girls of today might not be considered as grest as thse names because there are so many girls coming into the business these days compared t back then when the girls were more noticeable for being so few willing to do what they did from getting their tits out to full on hardcore.

As great as those names you mentioned, there are equally as many girls as beautiful as those around today (if nnot more) that scrub up just as well from a good make up and costume fitting session.

You dont hear much of those legends of page 3 now simply because there are a new generation of men that are dealing with the here and now.

Though I'm sure if those girls were to resurface they would certainly be more popular among the guys that remembered them and pick up the younger crowd who like the more seasoned/ experienced/ mature woman (or MILF if you prefer).

I reckon a lot of girls will be great milfs if they can stay the distance but other priorities change their careers, like marriage and children.

Personally I think with porn placing more extreme demands on women these days the thing we really run the risk of is losing girls (and guys) to psychological and physiological burn out.

...But thats a whole other thread in itself.

Does anyone know what happened to a girl called Liz Ford. I think she was Page 3 and appeared in Playbirds type mags?

"it would be amazing to see the likes of Sophie Howard,Michelle Marsh,Keeley etc getting a little more 'risque' than just page 3/zoo etc!"

Quite agree - the thing is that these days a lot of models have an eye on being a 'celeb' and doing reality shows. If Michelle Marsh or Lucy Pinder ever even went close to doing hardcore or even a shoot similar to Whitehouse in the mid-90s, then they'd never get in the Big Brother house!

You only need look at the reaction when Keeley's sex video was leaked - her lawyers were on the case to Strictly Broadband and you can't see it anymore.

Anyone remember Helen Labdon? She was a right looker if I remember (and in the very first issue of Mayfair that I bought!). Think she was involved in some tabloid scandal a few years ago as well.

Helen is married to Hollywood star Greg Kinnear, and they have children.
