I'm sorry but I have never seen an OEJ production so from what I can gather you feel that OEJ viewers are all about wank foder and have no interest in settings or dialog. I've been on many a high budget shoot, where the girls are having to learn lines they can't or aren't happy with delivering. which sets things off on a bad vibe, thus affecting the sex. Good gonzo does away with that problem.
Or the production that has had alot of money thrown at it for all the top stars to be in the film & no one has thought of matchmaking or talent compatibility!
Who gives a fuck about the location or production values when the sex is crap.
When low budget gonzo gets it right nothing can touch it, I don't care how much money you spend on talent, scripts or locations!

Take the words "high Budget" and put them with "Matchmaking, Talent, Compatability" and thats what we are talking about.

So in your world product is driven by budget so if we use your logic then the cheaper the film the better it is! Again this is not the angle of any credible buisness plan as the key to any success is product.

If thats how you choose your Porn then I'd suggest you bypass Brit Porn
or if you wish to persist do a lot of research before any purchase or maybe check out the past productions of that ilk which contain Brits like roxanne hall,laura singer,nici sterling,katy,laura turner,tamsin le vann,sabrina johnson,samantha shamal,gilly sampson,janey lamb, etc

I used to think as you do but having watched about 500 Euro & Yank flicks I've come to the conclusion that production values & locations are over rated
if they don't contribute to the sexual build up,far too often they don't

Good porn is all about the Girl and her Performance/Reactions
She either makes or breaks the film

The Studs will do their business but unless she's REALLY getting off then all
the production values & lavish locations will have been wasted IMHO

But there are British Producers making just the stuff I'm talking about but after seeing 500 films you are suffering from porn burn out (quoting OEJ) so you wouldn't see their stuff becuase you are one tracked in to instant viewing.

This post started with Wax saying about the state of British porn and so far its provoked some interesting responses. Here is a benchmark for the future. Lets mark our calendars for 2010 and see how many of these Gonzo guys are still in the industry. I'm sure Dr Who would nip out and then tell us this bloke is working at MacDonalds and that bloke is working at a fuel station etc
