Now that a precedent has been set what's to stop someone from secretly filming an event such as a BGAFD party where a lot of normal punters go and selling the footage to a Newspaper or Television company for a quick buck by exposing such an event, makes you think

I used to have a friend who worked for a national tabloid and they actually pulled a story about a teacher who worked as an escort girl as they felt it was unfair to print what would have unquestionably had an effect far too detrimental to her to justify it. So that's the level Marion's morals have fallen to - below that of a tabloid hack.

I can't believe the fuss this has caused.
Marino saw an opportunity and went for it and thats what lifes about, when it comes around grab it so good luck to you mate. Would I have done it myself? Maybe not but I certainly don't blame him for doing it. As I said before good luck to you mate.
As for the coppers who might lose their jobs/wives etc. Well no one forced them into the van kicking and screaming. They went their on their own free will and if they lose their jobs or face any consequences because of it then thats their own fault.
(to the mods, I mistakenly posted this under illinois blue but was meant to be on the main thread topic so please feel free to delete the other one)

Hi Marino. I haven't read all the thread so I'm sorry if this has already been asked. The coppers were out of order, but are you on safe ground legally offering this for sale? From what I've read, they were filmed without their knowledge so you might be open to a bit of legal trouble if you're selling the footage without their consent?
Love your work by the way. Keep it up!

Yeah, what happens when the next producer is reported to the police, I expect they wont be so humourous and full of fun, when they turn up. The local bobbies will get their vengeance for this!

It makes me laugh how people can make judgement on their high moralistic horses without even watching the clips (I have, 15 bucks to you Marino). These cops were on duty as confirmed in the NOTW, they should have kept their trousers down until after their shift.
I can't believe we have Mary Whitehouses on this board of all places!
