Think I already implied that.
He's no more hypocritical than the rest of the holier-than-thou, mealy-mouthed, I-know-best, rent-a-quote mob......

Clive,
It is called, loading the dice.
Anytime the Govt appoint an "independent commitee/panel," you can be sure that this is the last thing it is going to be.

Thats the one i read

This really angers me. Not because im desperate to R18 on TVX (although that would be cool) but he is certainly seems to be one of these pious pricks who will be out to restrict and censor as far as possible whilst whittling on about his bloody (probably ugly) family

I ahve no problems with people having beliefs, but as we have seen right across the world, people with strong convictions believe that they should be controlling other peoples lives

And frankly a near fundamentalist christian such as JE is hardly representatvive of British society as it currently stands. So why the seeming need to use him? If they wanted a sports figure, why not george Best or frank Worthington...at least they know what its all about.

I am going to ring Ofcom some time next week if they don't reply to my letter. All I want is something in writing saying that the content board are all representative reasonable and tolerant people (or similar). Then when they turn out not to be I shall use the letter against them.

On a percentage basis of attendance at a place of worship, I believe British Muslims might have a better claim for a seat at the table than the

jj you are correct - incidentaly I calculated that only 0.03% of the UK population are Quakers but 1 is on the content board (ie 9%).
