"As I of course don't use any camera at all I also find it far easier to book models".

I would like to point out this isn't paying for a shoot which is the title of the topic.

AdultWork as changed the industry in the fact models make more money doing their own thing, you do get girls that can't be arsed to bother religiously uploading bits 5 times a day etc so there are 2 types of models still.

More producers are doing content share to survive & carry on as the cash they usually offer is a fraction of what models can earn with their own material, most models still need good photographers & film makers & if you look after them they will do the same in return.

By working with the models rather than them working for us you get to see both sides of how the industry is changing, if you are an honest producer/photographer who is open to do content share there is still plenty of shoots & endless models.

The old way of paying a model will never come back & progressing to content share will happen for everyone eventually, even if AW stopped tomorrow other similar sites would pop up as the demand for this is far bigger than that of agencies & producers.

I'm all ok with the business changing and models being more empowered to do their own thing. In fact that is a good thing as you said Kim. It gives both models and producers a chance to understand the broader picture f the business we are in from both sides of the fence

Maybe self employed moels might want to take note that the ISP filtering and ATVOD if left unopposed are threatening the freedom that is being enjoyed at the moment.

If youve seen this video, Pete Johnson doesnt threaten to shut anyone down but instead he proposes restricting you from earning money from it.

its one thing to understand th ebusiness you are in but its another to understand the forces at work that will make short shrift of that business within two years

What Johnson says here is that everyone on Adult Work is in breach of rule 11 because the user has no control over the payment mechanism

As Adult Work use Credit Cards to purchase clips, pics, web cam etc its within safety rules in what he says about children accessing hardcore sites.

Its based off shore & does not have comply to UK laws anyway, not saying they couldn't try to do this but it would have to include Southern Charms & other off shore sites which will be in breach of these countries laws.

Tube sites should be the first to go & as you see X Hamster is now a solid base used to sell everything so people will hop from one to another, Twitter is also used as a powerful sales tool so again another company out of their reach.

If a site uses credit cards & don't have hard core material on view to minors like Adult Work for instance what possible argument do they have to say they are in the wrong ?

We know all that Kim which is why I brought this to your attention

If left unchecked ATVOD are moving the goal osts to main tain their position in gaining control of the internet in the UK

The new gold rush it seems is control and left unopposed they will get it. This isnt about porn but it is using porn to get a foot through the door in achieving that endgame.

Forget producers, models will have to find another way to make a living if the powers that be have their way

As Adult Work is off shore company how can they get a foot hold, the crazy thing about all this is i got into porn when it was illegal & its heading that way again...our lovely industry lol!

If its pushed underground which it what will happen its going to be an even bigger headache for the Government...at least they could do all the raids in one morning when there was only a few of us.

It was said on that video PJ planned to meet with the banks on October 10th to block payments coming to the owners of sites and I suppose users of similar sites too

How they plan on doing it is anyones guess. I cant see it happening but Im just conveying what went down. the result of that meeting with the banks had Pete Johnson stating that sites not complying to ATVOD are therefore illegal but the banks have stated they "dont want to be seen as the internets regulator"

The battle continues...But lets just say PJ is a determined man. This is why you should follow Sex & Censorship and @pornpanic to get the latest going down on this

Its not even about porn. Its not even about Adult Work. Its about control. Its about censorship and the government want it.

If its not being controlled by ATVOD then you will be brought to heel by ISP filters. Both together cant be good
