I'm glad I amuse. You've got to laugh sometimes..as I seldom cry. Being a bloke an all.
Joking aside it would help if producers were more open about sharing information with each other.

Absolutely not. Can't believe you even gave her 3 chances already, I might just MIGHT give someone a second chance if they let me down but I would never give a third chance.
Name her and shame her, you'll prob find she has done it with others too.

If he names and shames..it'll be censored in this forum. He emailed me the name...
I was surprised!

Sorry. Guess I need to take a look at the rules, just assumed it'd be allowed but you do see lots of this kind of censorship on forums, makes you think what agenda the forum police have. If someone lets you down then you should be able let others know. God imagine ebay not allowing buyers to leave feedback. Rules are rules though so I best go familiarize myself.
With regards being surprised, i've not done as many shoots as sum but have done a fair few and of the models that have ever cancelled or not shown its always been popular names that appear to have impeccable history, think they prob get a better offer come along so think they can get a reschedule or they just wake up can't be arsed and when some places don't allow naming then these models get away with doing this and there records stay clean.
Out of interest, anyone know what's happened to the no shows site? Myk's wife was ill and know he gave up the studio but thought the no-shows site may have stayed on or been taken over.

Yes. We've been shooting for eight years and it's usually always the case we get bumped for a better offer. It's really unprofessional and ridiculous when the very same week you see the model bitching about not having any work.
I think some of the bigger models suffer from Diva syndrome. It's clown shoes man, modeling is a short career - they should be accepting all the work they can and therefore averaging out their weekly income.
I'm not sure about the no-show site.
To my knowledge, my BensonModels website is the only website that publicly 'names and shames'.
Not out of malice but just to make it abundantly clear that when we get on a plane laden with gear, the model better have a great excuse for not being at the other end!

Perhaps so... (regarding masie) - I'm sure she's terriffic but is anyone actually saying that they would book a model to PHOTOGRAPH without actually seeing her?
I said in a thread once before:
"What if I have a site for skinny girls and she's curvy?
What if I only shoot black girls and she's oriental?
What if I work with busty girls and she's flat-chested?"
I'm sorry but it's that simple.
