That really sucks !sad!

I can only imagine how pissed off Stormchild must be. At this kind of event, I'd normally leave my camera in a corner or on a chair, confident that nobody would take it.

Camera is insured.

'I assume that there's nothing on the camera drive/flash that ''could'' cause a problem?'

Nope - not at all as I have reported the theft to the police. I am more pissed off that all the photos I took will never be seen. Photos of everyone having a laugh and some of my best ones to date. I really want the SD card back. The camera can be replaced but the photos cannot.

Hi Sarah,

I reckon it was a theif from downstairs. Only the footage will let me know. The police have been informed and I should be finding out today the face of the culprit. All I can say is if I recognise the theif I will let the police know the name. I am more than sure it will be a non-industry person,

However, im prepared to make an exception and use it "Sans" Lube if the culprit is ever identified.!tears!... Might i suggest that aswell as any due financial recompense to Matt, the culprit VOLUNTEER!nervous! to be bound, possibly hooded to hide himself and his shame, and then be given the Anal Rogering of his life!tears! whilst chanting "Im a low life thieving Scum bag who deserves this,Mistress Sarah... Please put this on DvD, clips for sale and Live Tv et al for the world to see my humiliation"... When i flag, perhaps another Strap on wearing babe can take over!wicked!, Volunteers and suggestions warmly recieved...... I ask for NO financial gain from this, the profits going to who and wherever - I only seek JUSTICE for Matt!! Sarah Kelly...Strap on Wearin Bitch and Dominatrix at Heart !wink!

Very sorry to hear about this. I kept my main camera and a lens round my neck all night but I had my spare camera body and a bunch of other lenses tucked away in various corners for the whole night where I felt it would be safe at a private event so feel very much "there but for the grace of god go I". The thief could easily have made off with all my kit as well.

As for the points about insurance, yes we togs ought to arrange for professional insurance. We don't always get round to it. My kit may be covered under my household policy but then again what with single item limits and other restrictions, I guess I'd stand to lose a fair few bob if someone made off with it. :-(
