Firstly you must realise that TV producers, being without exception, pathalogical liars and cheats, have one thing in mind, that is to denegrate you and make you look like a sad sleazebag or pathetic victim.

Funnily enough, this is the same process they attempt to do to politicians. The difference is, politicians are extensively trained by PR companies to deal with TV producers. Politicians are trained how to look, how to answer questions and not incriminate themselves and so on. This process can take months of work. Only then are they permitted to come into contact with TV scum!

So what hope does a typical pornographer or model have against the onslaught of predatory TV people?.............you will be torn apart, made to look like a fool and your normal life possibly destroyed.

So if you want to appear on TV, simply hire the services of a top image consultant, before you consider it.. This service should only set you back ?10-20K, but remember you can collect your fee after you made your first appearance.............?5.90 for a travel card!

Do not be fooled by the dulcet tones of the cute, little blonde researcher, with a clip-board , beneath this nice exterior she is in fact an , "Evil crone of Satan!" !happy!

I see Channel 4s "The Sex Education Show" wants to do a special on the porn industry and I agree with Bob this might be worth while someone doing because they want to show the whol ething from a health point of view and this is good pr to show the world that we do have standards and rules where sex is concerned for work.

Before you flame me for this endorsement Ive seen this show and I think it is pretty good because it is matter of fact rather than casting aspersions on peoples sexual activities.

i would encourage support for that. i'd consider it but I mainly work with couples who do not require health tests and if there is outside involvemnet it requires a condom anyway because thats what any sensible person would do in real life (I hope)

It could also go tits up if the company putting themselves up make it so. Shame they didnt do the auditions in 2007....!happy!

Yes, total agreement - but...
I was talking to one person (who shall remain anonymous) he said it might be good promo for a persons website etc.
I won't even bother listing the reasons why that's nonsense.

Point is - some numbnut will do it no matter what we say.

There are clearly different types of programmes as you point out. Some, like the exploitative one this thread is about, from which no serious person in the industry would emerge well, some that treat porn as a fact of life and there to enjoy, eg Porn Week and Sexetera.

Is she the one who keeps having to make a joke every 15 seconds? I think she's awful.

Any program that has the guts to say that maybe porn is good for some people, in some ways, at least some of the time might have a chance at balance but anything that needs to sell advertising to Kellogs, Tesco & Shake N' Vac is never gonna do anything than find ways to make us look bad and then hammer us flat about it.
A channel that has adverts for sex-lines etc might stand a chance but even then you're at the mercy of the editor who is gonna make the ost exciting programme he can from the footage provided and it that means concentrating on the ONE row a girl has with her mum about her job then that's what they'll do. That will be the enduring image on every trailer for the show too!

ANNOUNCER: "Tonight on 'The Production line - a Balanced Look at Porn..."

[Girl crying] "But it was only two c*cks at once Mum. [bleeped out of course]
]Mum pointing at girl] "You've ruined your life, what decent man will want you now?"
[More crying from girl]
"And wait till your Dad finds out... I'm disgusted."
[Mum walks out on sobbing girl - cut to shaky, hand-held close-up of teary eyed girl... hold shot and fade slowly to black, bringing up audio of girl being banged within an inch of her life.]
[Fade words up (white on black background) one at a time: "The" "Production" "line"]
[Banging audio down - Crying up.]

Wait and see!

Maybe, but I bet that they'd edit or forbid the mention of your name. Look at BendOver on news 24, he wore his "Bendover Academy" T Shirt, thinking they'd film it, what did they do? Simply filmed the back of his head!
