No one is against escorts. I believe it should be fully legalised.

My point is the mixing of the two professions which increases risk. We want to decrease risk, not increase it.

There's no personal crusade against escorts. Not from me anyway....

Oh, that's OK, I thought you meant literally 1 clinic, LOL.

metephorically = Meta-phorically

Get the government to accept Porn as a legitimate interest, & 1 of the "good guys" (even if only in "self-regulatory, health concious, attempts to reduce STI's"), you've got to be kidding.

Over 70% of the Government would have probably seen/purchased/borrowed some form of Pornographic material in their lifetime, but you'd be lucky to find 10% who'd volunterily back the Porn Industry, even if only for Health reasons.

Theoritically it sounds good, but the diff comes in, if the Industry take up, & use any of the suggestions posted in these "issue related" topics over the last 2 weeks.

Sam

I am not here to champion or promote escorting, but as I stated in my first post I wanted to provide some perspective

The majority of porn stars who are escorting are engaging in safe sex and therefore greatly minimising their risk of contracting an STD

The adult industry (an industry that I am involved in) largely does not engage in safe sex

So let?s not make the porn stars who escort the scapegoats

More sex does equal more risk, but there are plenty of ways (other than escorting) for performers to engage in more sex outside of the adult industry

The responsible approach taken by Paul Chaplin (of Blue Bird Films) should be commended

You seem to have come to this board to solve the problems of STD?s in the UK adult industry, but maybe you should first acquire some experience of the adult industry before you take on that task

Like everybody else you are entitled to an opinion, but in your own words you ? ?work in a GUM clinic as part of my training day? ? I?m not sure that qualifies you to be speaking in such a forthright way

Okay I have said my piece and will now bow out of this thread

Have a good day
