Hi,

CCbill do allow you to set a minimum cheque level. If you wish, you can set it at $1000 although you will wait longer for your money, you will not have to pay so many uk bank charges. Also, if you set yourself up for a wire payment into a stirling account then there are no bank charges at all, you just get the money converted by the bank as it hits your account.

For example if ccbill send $1000 in us currency to your uk account then your bank's computer will think hmmm $ to a ? account, then convert it and credit your account with the ? ammount.

CCBill do charge for wire payments I believe. And the bank also charge a transaction fee.

Tas

The ones I thinking of cost nowt. I hadn't heard of the hun until it was suggested here and having looked at the site it doesn't compare with the others.

As I said I wondered why Brits didn't use them but if they all looked as cheap as the hun I could understand why.

1st part yes (but I don't have a paysite just wondered why those that have don't use them) 2nd part no idea.

As I said it just seems a missed opportunity but I am not giving a mandatory instruction that everyone should use them lol

If it's a good idea I suspect someone here will think I'll create a similar thing. Trouble is doing that won't do anything about the more successful ones out there and I suspect the regular viewers will stick to the ones known.

There is also the obvious spam-a lot and pop up stuff which used to come with UK sites which is one of the main reasons why I still stay clear of UK sites that and the no updates, cheat, steal no shows that also seem to be a more regular occurrence.

!happy! Despite appearances, The Hun is one of the most visited, and profitable adult sites in the world. It gets something like 3 million uniques a day (that's unique visitors, not "hits" which is a meaningless parameter used by site owners engaging in hyperbole).

Current thinking and my own observation, though, is that Hun traffic converts well for hardcore b/g sites, but is a waste of bandwidth on niche sites.

ill say this for the Hun......although im stuggling with their details on how to advertise on the site (thanks to tas for the link and confirming your costs)

...it is however a VERY SIMPLE site to navigate for the porn surfer (freeloader)

so many free sites / TGPs focus on an avalanche of throbbing banners that it's like an assault on my senses - and I will often get away from the page - just to give my eyes a rest.

The Hun however gives you what is says on the box - clearly and efficiently.

The most visited website on the planet (google) is simple efficient, and easy to navigate.....and perhaps a good model to imitate.

Theres nothing like a few well placed sample pics or trailers etc....to get the juices going with a surfer (and potential paysite member)....however perhaps a few websites would produce a better return if the CUSTOMER was considered more as opposed to what I percieve as hotshot web - designers, trying to show off their skills.

HI,

Thanks for your reply, where in the CC Bill menu system can you change the cheque payout level? When you log in as an affiliate the menu system only allows you to change the most basic deatails of your account and gives you access to reports on what you've sold.

Have you by any chance got a "full" CC Bill account and perhaps that gives you extra options?

Thank you in advance,

Mr Kinky,
If my memory serves me correctly, it's when you first sign up to CC Bill that you have the options for how often you recieve your cheques and to set a minimum cheque amount. You can change it at any time but I think you need to email them and request the change. Just drop them an email and I'm sure they'll be happy to sort you out.

!happy! Having not seen the hun until it was mentioned I obviously wouldn't know if it was one of the most visited, and profitable adult sites in the world or not.

As most of these sites appear to get a lot of visitors though it wouldn't surprise that this one is popular.

I was suggesting the ones with a photo as well as wording instead of just text links because these would be the ones I would chose 1st if I was going to use them.

I click on them if they are of interest to me (Sandie Caine sucking for example lol) and the photo's makes them easier to attract attention in my opinion.
