Indeed there ARE hidden forums, with around 400kb of data, so id guess 180-300 posts in there, maybe more depending on the size.

With past experience of MH it might be a good idea to take film-makers/photographer details as there were some very sick people that contacted models from this site.

On One Model Place, a large percentage of the models are linked to managers/agents !furious! (personally I can think of something else to call them !wink! ).

I will agree that be-seen-here is a better system as it allows direct email contact with models, however I'm not as convinced as you are about the webmaster. When I first started out there was a lot of posts on MH from people slagging off BSH, and being new I didn't know exactly what was behind it all so I made a post on the forum asking for someone to fill me in, and as a result of making that post I then found a few months later that I was banned from BSH. I'll give the BSH webmaster credit in that he replied to my email and explained why I'd been banned, but getting banned simply because I'd made a post asking a question, was very petty.

I'm not defending MH, the webmaster upset a lot of people (and even me in the end), however I respected the fact that he did his best to ensure that all the models listed were independant and genuine models, along with the fact he had the balls to stand up and publicly say what he thought on certain issues (whether he was right or wrong).

On the subject of verifying photographers, I applaud the thinking behind this, but like everyone else here I don't think it could work.

From my experience of OMP I have had dealings with the models direct 90% of the time. Besides I would much rather deal with a manager or an agent than a security guard who pretended he knew how to keep the models safe!

I would recommend One Model Place every time as i have no problem dealing with a manager or an agent, surely its sensible for a model to have her emails checked by someone first? After all as Kim said earlier there are some sick people out there

Providing you know you're dealing with a 3rd party.

Professional agents and managers are not a problem, but those who have an emotional interest in a model are generally a pain in the arse to deal with.

I cannot answer as to why Kevin is not here defending himself and the new MH - probably because, like me, he feels it is useless. Everyone posting here is so anti-MH - judging it on its previous ownership - thats there isn't much point attempting to argue!

Over the new proposals I can only say that what is being proposed is almost the same as is already being done by TMC - so why so much criiticism?

I have no axe to grind with anyone but I do like to see constructive comments - not back-biting based on the behaviour of the previous owner.

Unfortunately Libby it's a case of "Give a dog a bad name " :( People were angered, pestered as in the case of models and god knows what else by Andrew. He left M-H abrubtly at a time when there had been a minor problem with the excuse he had a g/f. Does that mean he gave up being a nightwatchman to be with her as well...

New management need to prove there are signinficant changes and not just say there are.

And what's being done on TMC now, that M-H is planning to do ?
