In the cold light of day what I wrote may seem a bit harsh. Don't get me wrong..I love publishing companies, I dig 'em (Especially the cheques they send me) and if anyone from publishing land is reading this then, "Hi, how are you? I still love you."

I hope they continue to do well, I honestly do but when a senior editor with twenty years in the business at the top level in the USA tells you what he told me then it does make one sit up and take notice. Larry Flynt has already shed several of his adult titles and he's no mug.

It's all too easy to bury one's head in the sand and pretend everything is ok while the cheques roll in but times change. Historically UK cultural trends mirror US cultural trends (As far as porn can be defined as "Culture") albeit a little bit behind Uncle Sam.

This is in no way meant to be a dig at magazine publishers, not at all, but if you're producing material and you're looking to the future then what are you gonna do?

I don't think there's any doubt that magazines have taken a huge knock from the net over the last 5 or 6 years but they'll always have a following.

Simon is already well established online in both photo and video production but getting his material in a magazine, let alone on the front cover, was something he'd always wanted to achieve.

Didnt think anyone was knocking him or denying him anything and biggin up yourself on here does seem to be the main thing thats done all the time. Here is an interesting obseravtion my accountant always applies to my hair brained buisness plans. If you want to know how good an industry/idea is take a look at how many comapanies service it. Then find out how many of them have been servicing it for 10 or more years. If the answer is 50% or above its an average industry worth thought. If the answer is 40% walk away because there is no long term stability or thought in place.

So I'm wondering how many people reading this can honestly say they have been on board the british adult industry since 1995 earning money and will it be above or below 50%? Bet there aing ANY GIRLS?
