That's right - AEBN pay producers up to 50% - we pay somewhat more.

It's hard to equate a 30% offer on a VoD site with apparently higher offers from membership sites. The best way to find out is to suck it and see...

Most affiliates won't touch you unless they know what proccessor bills for you.
With so few few around i want to know there history and how long they have been in biz for.
Lancelot, GlobalCharge and Glo-bill to name a few have all fallen and left a lot of people out of pocket. As an affiliate, knowing the biller is just as important as the % you pay out, esp with the new 2257 regs that are about to come into play.

We don't use a public billing agent. As you say, many have fallen, some affecting projects I've worked on. We've seen Globalcharge, iBill and DMR fall, to name a few. We will be making our own affiliate payments direct.

I appreciate that webmasters are wary of new sites/agents.

Simply do you think the punters want to wait for the download time. Most I have spoke to don't but I am not sure. I have opted for streaming just because it has fast forward rewind etc and can be set up for per minute so if a movie is crap you don't need to pay to watch it after a few minutes. What kbs are you encoding at, are you simulstreaming it so as to encorporate Helix etc. these are questions many producers are asking me and they want to know. I think offering them %30 is about fair provided you are doing plenty behind the scenes to promote the site. Only argument against this is it still helps the pirates as they can burn the file back to DVD and sell it at the market. Streaming at least uses the DRM loop to part prevent it and it should be cheaper for the punter at about ?3 a vist. Any way to kill off DVD is a benifit to producers as it just gets in the way of the producer to punter relationship.
