Going back to the subject line of this thread...........
Quite possibly the best tweet of the entire election.
Police Community @PolComForum
Dear Theresa, it's not the number of MPs that counts it's how you use them. You have to do more with less that's all.

according to the latest interviews on the bbc she actually had her resignation written prior to her own constituency count. her position is untenable with that information in the public domain.

All I have seen over the last two days is a parade of Tory politicians saying that Teresa May is going to be PM for the next five years and this government is going to last until 2022.
What I really find amazing is that they are saying it with a straight face!
And then they wonder why people find it difficult to believe a word (certain), politicians say.
I give her till October, and I think she's only going to make it that long because there's a Parliamentary recess from 21 July to 05 September.

she's not going to make through this week or possibly today. She's delayed the queens speech by up to seven days because she has clearly lied to the queen about her ability to get a deal with the DUP to govern. like all right wing dictators she will have the army on standby to protect her. The good thing is the tories will get slaughtered when we do get a second election and they'll not govern again for a very long time.

It's gone very quiet around here.
"tommydickfingers", "ninasbest", "randyandy", "bernard72" where are you?
I'd be really interested in hearing what you have to say about the current situation.
As long as it's not along the lines of "Corbyn's a cunt", "Corbyn's an IRA stooge" because obviously, that's not going to wash anymore.

This is a cut and paste from the BBC news website
"One of the reasons for the delay is also believed to be because the speech has to be written on goat's skin parchment paper, which takes a few days to dry - and the Tory negotiations with the DUP mean it cannot be ready in time."
m100 - it's very naughty of you to say that about Theresa not being able to deliver a deal with the DUP, when everyone knows it's because they can't get the ink to dry on the goatskin.
"Can't get the ink to dry on the goatskin"! That's really up there with "the dog eat my homework"

amazed she's still in office but I guess she's just a mouthpiece for whichever one of the cabinet is really in charge so it looks like they have a clue. perhaps the right wing dictator has invited the right wing supporters round for a spot of dinner and that's where they've gone. The second election is an inevitability. as is the first really left-wing labour government in 40 plus years. consorting with terrorists, no plan for brexit, pound plummeting, we must be talking about Jeremy? No, really well who would have thought it? All of us who have lived through the fucking tory freakshow, selling Britain to the highest bidders and lowest common denominators for the last forty years.

I wonder if a humble pie is on the menu?
Like most turkeys, Theresa is not going to make it past Christmas.
