Oh, I understand perfectly that we have different views, whale cock.
You're views in this thread are just wrong and born from ignorance, that's all. And given your attitude to being corrected about what is an inarguable point, you'll continue being ignorant.
Political correctness

Re: Political correctness
Sammy boy, exactly where do you get the inarguable point from ? Is it just your conceit that you're right even where you're wrong ?

Re: Political correctness
Opinion seems to be divided on this one.
Dick alone says it's political correctness gone mad.
The other five posters who have expressed a view say that it has nothing at all to do with political correctness.
Dick seems to be in a minority of one.

Re: Political correctness
Fair enough Milk Tray Man but if ten people tell me that two plus two equals five do you want me to agree with that ? It's called opinions and I've seen nothing to change mine.

What if ten people tell you that the Earth is not flat Dick?
Re: Political correctness
I have a thing called a television and I've seen pictures from a thing called a spaceship which shows the shape of the earth. I would class this as proof and so far I've seen no proof on the original topic.

Re: Political correctness
I have to say I agree with Mr Slater on this Dick. You're now just arguing for argument's sake because you can't bear to admit that you are wrong (and perhaps feeling a tad foolish as well I should wager).
You even said it yourself higher up, and I quote: "I was told on a course that only a doctor can declare somebody as dead". So there you have it! Nothing at all to do with political correctness, and as far as I'm aware is standard official procedure. All that stuff about reanimated headless corpses was just irrelevant really - even then, a doctor would presumably still have to make the declaration and sign the death certificate.
You can of course go on about "opinions" and "proof" till you're blue in the face, but the fact that no-one else is agreeing with you ought to tell you something.
This whole thread reminds me of a trip abroad I went on as a teenager: One of the leaders vanished for about an hour in transit to the airport (this was before mobile phones so no way of contacting him). Meanwhile the remaining 2 leaders and the whole group got there, checked in and were waiting in the departure lounge when he eventually turned up looking very flustered. But of course it was - according to him - the rest of us who had "got lost".

Milk Tray Man, in no way do I feel foolish and I notice you don't mention the word common sense. I certainly don't admit to being wrong. I'm pretty sure that even if Doctor Kildare saw somebody without a head it would not take long before he confirmed he was dead. Just exactly why can't I say it.

Re: Political correctness
Whale cock.........do you know the difference between health and safety legislation and political correctness? Yes or no?
And if you do, explain it to us all so we're all on the same page.
