Let me know when you start doing standup Max. Very droll. Makes me wonder why she hasn't had a glittering ministerial career, given that she is a "typical nu labour lefties"? Her opposition to the Iraq war must have made her really popular with Nu Labour.
Personally, Diane Abbott lost all credibility for me when I found out that she and her son weren't living in a tent on Richmond Common. Bastard! Sorry "black bastard".

The champaign socialist isn't and never was NEW Labour the only thing that opportunistic bitch stands for or represents is her own selfish gain.

This is daft. If all she was interested in was getting on, becoming a minister in an important cabinet job and then getting loads of contract work off the back of it, then she went about in a funny way by:
1. Displaying her contempt for Blair.
2. Being against the Iraq war.
3. Being against id cards.
4 Being against the refurbishment of the Trident system.
She has always shown an independent line in her politics.

How much do you think she will get for appearing on This Week with Andrew Neil on a Thursday night now and again, or making the occasional appearance on Question Time?
How much do you think she would get if she had towed the Blair line, agreed with everything the New Labour hierarchy did and got a senior Cabinet job? And all the corporate sector private contract work she could get following on from it?
How much do you think she will get for appearing on This Week with Andrew Neil on a Thursday night now and again, or making the occasional appearance on Question Time?
