Probably some truth in that. In any case one thing that stood out was that Romney took practically all of the redneck southern states.

Thanks for another demonstration of 'ranting', Dave. Nobody's better at it than you.

There's nothing like a good, sensible politcal debate....

As an American colleague of mine used to say "never wrestle with a pig, you both get muddy and the pig enjoys it!!". Similar to debating with DJ.
Your opinion is your opinion, no matter what someone else thinks.

Your opinion is your opinion. Whether it is correct or not, is a different issue and so is whether you are prepared to defend your opinion or not.

You, Argie are unable to defend your position on Obama, so prefer instead to come up with a range of pathetic excuses or even worse, explanations such as "Obama's wife spends thousands on designer clothes".

"Yes you're right, Obama was called a lot of things (communist, Muslim, etc), but then so was Romney but by far more people, including all the satirists, commentators, writers, comedians, etc. But then that's politics!"

"All the satirists, commentators, writers, comedians"? Really, Kenneth?

I don't think so Kenneth. Obama has been subject to an unprecedented onslaught from extreme right wing "satirists, commentators, writers, comedians". The very people who bizarrely think Obama is a Commie socialist undermining American freedoms.

"Thanks for another demonstration of 'ranting', Dave"

Now you are being silly, Kenneth. I have merely disagreed with you.
