Yeah, believe it or not, my school was one of the few Catholic schools in Oz that didn't have, "MUST BE A CHILD ABUSER" as part of their job description! I think they were too busy beating the living daylights out of us, to be bothered with abusing us! Bunch of complete cunts, every man jack of 'em!

Historically the so-called "special relationship" is a new thing of the past
50 years. One could make a strong argument for the simple fact that for
most of its existence the USA has been anti-British. I would argue that even
today the realpolitik of American foreign policy is "screw the Brits" if it suits
them to do so.
It was Churchill, with an American mother, desperately wanting the USA to
enter the 2nd WW on our side, who began this "special relationship". With
our declining Empire in the 60s, 70s and 80s it suited politicians like
Thatcher to imply we were still top dogs by suggesting we were like brothers
to the Yanks and thus almost as important.
I would point out to readers the following:
* Americans were our enemies during their Revolutionary War.
* Americans were our enemies in 1812 - when we burned the White
House.
* Americans were our enemies during their Civil War when they
boarded British vessels and we got ready to fight them.
* Americans were our enemies in the 1859-72 Pig War over the
disputed San Juan Islands off Vancouver; an anti-British German
Kaiser arbitrated in US favour.
* Americans were our enemies in Hawaii where the King asked for
his islands to become part of the British Empire. Armed Americans
imprisoned him in his palace until he agreed that US interests
would prevail.
* America watched the British Empire exhaust her resources for 3
quarters of the 1st WW, then stepped in for the last year and had
the affrontery to try and dictate the peace terms.
* America came to our aid only after they were humiliated at Pearl
Harbor; they did not enter the 2nd WW to save us but their national
honour.
* America deliberately stopped the successful British-French-Israeli
forces in the Suez War at the U.N.
* Thank God for Harold Wilson and the F.O. mandarins who "thanked"
President Johnson a decade later for interfering in British affairs by
refusing to send our boys to die in Vietnam.
I could go on and on....Did you know, for instance, that the USA has an
invasion plan for Canada, a British Dominion and part of the Commonwealth,
that involves the use of nerve gas ? This is so.

An essential accessory that no self-respecting jihadist should be without.

I thought it was the king who coined the phrase "Special relationship" to FDR.
