One of the most entertaining aspects of the bgafd forum is how folk
seem to divide neatly between those who hate the royals (or anyone,
it seems, with more money than them or opposed to re-distribution of
wealth) and loyal royal supporters. Regardless of whether, historically
or otherwise, one cares a tinker`s cuss for the royals, their history or
the cost of it all, I like to think the parties give some people pleasure,
especially kids, so those who hate the celebrations can be construed as
as kill-joys !
Which, of course, they are !

I reckon she's more popular than ever, because love her or hate her, she does rise above the stinking cesspool that is modern politics.

On the other hand, my views on Pearly Kings and Queens who will be emerging in force at the Jubilee is another matter! What with their cheery chat and loveable ways, they're a bloody menace if you ask me!!wink!
