A friend of ours had heavies down from London to break his legs etc over something he had no part of, he ended up being stabbed twice before hurting all three.
He poured petrol over the gang leader & caught him alight (he put him out after a while) for which he got 6 years, he only served 3 before being let out (18 months in an open jail).
He reckoned it was well worth it just to get the message across to them that you shouldn't hurt people...its not nice & the other thing was always check who you fuck with first lol.
Low life scum should be put on the front line of any of our many disputes over seas where they would be better suited.

Sorry didnt realise that I was mean to be answering your questions - what would you like answered ?

Capital punishment a deterrant - doesnt bother me as I dont see myself doing something that would require such a sentance. I do however think that a killer who has been convicted should be put down. I object to the fact that this person becomes a drain on society's resources. I object and I think that most people do object to the need to provide for these individuals.

I take it that you disagree and I dont think that I will change your mind on this so Im not going to try - each to their own.

The law is too soft in this country for dealing with murderers - you see how some of the killers of our time tried to weadle into the system to try and get freedom or an open prison - the fact is that they committed the ultimate and murdered someone. That is unforgivable and twenty or fifty years down the line they should not be allowed out. Life has to mean life. Hence the reason for the death penalty. it sorts that out and ensures that they never ever get released. Once you kill.

You're not, and don't have to. It's just normal to question a person's views during a debate where yours differ. How else would one person understand another?
Capital punishment a deterrant - doesnt bother me
So your pro-capital punishment stance isn't based on the assumption it's a deterrent. Then you base your opinion on what?
I object to the fact that this person becomes a drain on society's resources.
Ah. Scratch the question above. So your views on state murder are based on costs. You've worked out the value of life itself, have you? What's the total costs for keeping someone in prison which goes over this line of acceptance where you then feel it morally ok to kill them, then? I mean, surely an 8 stone, 5'5'' woman would be cheaper to keep than a 6'2'' man weighing 16 stone. In your world the woman is more worthy of life because she's cheaper to feed. I feel it ironic that our subject covers the acts of many a psychopath, yet your views and logic wouldn't be out of place in the diary of such a person.
I take it that you disagree and I dont think that I will change your mind on this so Im not going to try - each to their own.
Yes, I do. However, in my defence we're not only different in our views but also in our reasoning. Mine has been based on the data available while your's is based purely on personal opinion. Isn't it any wonder you haven't changed my mind? I mean, I prefer raspberry jam over strawberry but I wouldn't try and change someone's mind on the matter based on my tastes alone. That would be highly arrogant, wouldn't it?

I've covered this in my previous post. It's a separate issue. If you're problem is with how prisoners get parole then I might be with you on it. We're discussing the pros and cons of state murder, though, which isn't the same.

And raping one's daughter should mean raping the rapist's daughter.......and so on. Everyone ends up being a paedophile rapist. Fantastic. This eye for an eye business is silly, as I've tried to show already. If you've a problem with murder, you'd have to have a better reason than the costs to persuade me that more murdering is the answer.

You want capital punishment because you like the idea of capital punishment.

That is really the gist of it, isn't it?

Oh bow down to the great one......

Ye of many words I hath no retort

I can not compete with such a superior intelligence,

have mercy.

For I have none for the bastards that kill.....

they should be taken from the court once tried and convicted taken to a place of execution where the punishment will be dished out to suit the crime.

God have mercy on those lost souls - harvest the organs and give them to those that would make better recipricants.
