Listen? It was an episode of a TV series, albeit parodying a radio series.

I never saw that Hancock episode.

In the German remake, the corresponding character complains about the sound man who plays an unruly dog. Our hero rather wants a cat. Once the tables are turned he does get his cat in the form of (future) sex film actress Astrid Frank, who sits at his side, miaows, and pokes her boobs into his eyes.

This is the one

My memory was that I heard it on the radio.

You are correct though it was a TV programme.

I know that a lot of the TV shows were remade for the Radio and recorded as LPs.

I think some Radio shows were re-made for TV and also recorded as LPs.

I think there was a lot of recycling in those days.

So perhaps I did hear it as well as see it on TV.

Still a classic though.

They are still repeating Hancock's on Radio 4 Extra even now.

The Rami movies where good, but the 3rd one was not very good, Venom is my favourite villian and he got killed off and wasn't in the movie much. I am looking forward to the new spidey film as I am a comicbook fan but still can't believe that they are rebooting it this close to the other trilogy.

The costume is different but not 100 convinced by it yet, the approach is going to be more practical effects with the web swinging instead of CGI and the story looks like it is going to be darker.

Now the superman re-boot that looks bad arse, hes big enough to punch someone and his suit looks alien instead of like spandex oh and the pants have gone and he still looks good, considering to was written by Nolan and Goyer I can't wait to see what they do with it, after all look what Nolan did for batman.

Another film I can't wait for The Dark Knight Rises

The Spidey reboot happened because of some dispute before production of the 4th one so Raimi resigned and Tobey Maguire with him.

Maybe he saw it as an excuse to get out of his contract. A similar thing happened with the Bourne director and Matt Damon walked out as well and they made Green Zone which I thought was good

They`d pushed him to use three villians in the third one and were trying to rush a fourth movie out.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand aparently remakes of Comando with Sam Worthington , Total Recall with Colin " Box office poison " Farrell and Robocop are being made. Original ideas eh?
