Apparently, the offices of the Daily Star have just been raided. Is nothing sacred!?!

The Daily Star

Apparently the police were all Page 3 girls in short skirts with very, very long truncheons in their hands which they used in some dark corners of the Star offices.

That Murdoch, what a wag!

Not so sure about that. However, I was wondering why Cameron was so fulsome in his praise of Coulson this morning, saying how good a job he did for the Tories and how he still considered Coulson as a friend. On the other hand, he was suggesting that Rebekah Brooks's apparent offer of resignation should have been accepted.

I wonder if there is an element of fear there about what Coulson might reveal from hs time working for Cameron, if Coulson is dumped on, in the same way that the NOTW senior management seem to have thrown Coulson to the lions.

Seems both www.thesunonsunday.com and www.thesunonsunday.co.uk were registered but just a few days ago!

Oh the irony, Imagine Coulsen being interviewed under caution by those that took his money...as my mate Clarkeson would say..."you couldn't make it up"
About 23% more than the percentage that voted Lib Dem in the recent Inverclyde by election then.
23% of whom were dipshits but not now?
Why did only 2% vote Lib Dem in that by election?
Because there are fewer dipshits around?
Why did the Lib Dems get absolutely hammered in the May council elections?
See my answer above.
Mainly because the electorate realised that the Lib Dem general election manifesto was a pure fiction worthy of many a NOTW story and decided that the Lib Dems should not be "taken seriously
So not so dipshitty, then. You see why I said I wasn't going to take number6's post seriously?
Remind me, didn't you disappear from the forum shortly after the result of the AV vote and the council elections? Were you "Taking up yoga or tai chi chuan or something. Just trying to take your frustrations out "?
Yes. If I don't get my own way in certain quarters I refrain from posting on internet forums and refuse to walk through Morrisons. I once quite my job because Noel Edmonds was back on telly, too. You can believe all that if it makes you feel better, David!

Now, here are a few questions from me:

1) Do you think it appropriate to spoil other peoples' posts with political arguments when it's not the original topic?

2) What do you want from me?

Answer the second question first because I think I already know the answer to the first.

Your reply appears to implicitly reject the concept that even dipshits can learn from their mistakes.

Once you get that concept, the entire logic of your reply crumbles.

Now your questions of me.

"Do you think it appropriate to spoil other peoples' posts with political arguments when it's not the original topic?"

I can only speak for my own views which are, if I feel like responding to a message I do, if I don't, I won't. I was responding to a politically orientated reply from you to Number 6.

"What do you want from me?"

Nothing whatsoever.

Daily Star raided

Post by andy at handiwork »

To be fair to the DS, and you wont see me writing that very often, the raid was to get info on one of their freelancers. It wasn't suggested that they were (as yet of course) in the frame for illegal activities.
