Okay, based on your posts in this thread, your case against Billy Bragg is:
1. He has a big house and he may or may not own the car parked in the grounds.
2. He sings a song on Youtube saying it is a good idea to join a union.
3. He is a wanker.
I repeat.
What is so wrong about a wealthy person saying it is a good idea to join a union to help defend your rights in the workplace? I will leave a gap here so that you can copy and paste the question and then put in your answer.
.................................................................................................................
................................................................................................................
You appear to fall for the Daily Mail approach which can be summarised thus:
Bragg is not a Tory.
He has a big house.
He thinks people should join unions to defend their rights.
He is a hypocritical bastard. He has done well so why the fuck should he advise others to try and help themselves in the workplace.
Not the most intelligently argued view, but then it is the Daily Mail. I tried to contact Billy to give him a right of reply but he was on the phone to Fidel Castro planning the violent revolution to overthrow the employers in Dagenham and appropriate the means of production.
You will be the first to know how it is going!
Cheers
