If you explain to your card company what has happened and the value of goods not received, along with the information that your emails have been ignored they should be able to get a refund from the company who took the payment.

They may also be able to find out if there was a genuine takeover or just a change of name.

This is the situation of Blissbox pure and simple. The european operations of this site are no more, all distriibution is now handled by Gamelink in the USA who take no responsibility for order placed before the change over. They do not even care that people were ripped off so much so you have call USA an expensive call everytime to speak to a so called adviser who says time after time this is nothing to do with us.

Guess what even they said to me we cannot get hold of the european team, what a load of rubbish they know the owners names as they brough the rights to distribute, so they must have contact details.

This is what happens some american firm buys up the rights knowing that people have been victims of nothing more than fraud. I suggest everyone e-mails blissbox with comments from this site but I bet they still do nothing.

Use a well known site starts with ero, they have never let me down

I've just received my first order from the revamped site (which is much improved btw) but the items took 4 weeks to arrive, which in my opinion is just not acceptable for 'in-stock' items, wherever they are shipped from. [For example, I have ordered goods shipped from Hong Kong which have arrived within 48 hours!]

Plus it is only buried in the small print that that everything ships from Gamelink, and the fact that you order from 'Blissbox' but 'Gamelink' appears on your bank card statement, could be confusing for the average customer.

The reason Gamelink appears on your statement is they have brought the distibution rights for Blissbox, but the Blissbox name still is where people place orders. Around mid November last year everything was transferred to the USA and the European operation decided to ignore all e-mails, telephone calls everything. So if anyone placed an order before the switchover then all the new owners do is send your e-mail/complaints to enquiries@blissbox.com and all new orders are to be done through customerservice@blissbox.com or customerservices@blissbox.com cannot remember.

The new site will not send old orders pre switchover at all they dont seem to care that they are using the Blissbox name, knowing that many customers were ripped off. The old owners have commited fraud and because they are based abroad it would be difficult to prosecute the owners.

The site was owned by a group of people and I am sure if you do a company search of Blackdog Ltd in London UK you will get a list of directors names, and then if you have the time and the money then you can persue them if owed money for non delivery.

It will take many of us to make a valid claim but then how many people want to create a legal challenge cause porn is involved.

For those who made an oder and still have received nothing from the old site, I suggest making a claim back from your credit/debit card company, but for those that sent cash/postal orders or a cheque I guess you will have no proof of receipt of them even receiving payment.

Still I would not trust even the new Blissbox they are aware of what happened and know many people are owed goods and refunds but distance themselves so much it appears to me they are saying tough to customers, not very professional.

Another thing is if you comment here e-mail your comment to their e-mail address, they will get sick and tired of the bad reputation they have and will continue to have.

There are other websites which are a lot quicker erodvd is one of them free worldwide shipping, and at least they inform you if an item is out of stock if part of a multiple unit order via a consignment note in what you do receive, letting you know it is on back order and will be despatched when back in stock, unlike Gamelink/Blissbox who just take forever to do anything

I've also found the Simply the Best group of sites and Your Choice to give excellent service.

This is what I e-mailed Blissbox again.

Rebekah do you actually read the e-mails cause every reply sounds like some automated robot. If the other company still exists why is my order from 1st November 2010 still outstanding, how come they never replied to ANY e-mails before your company took over, how come they never answered calls.

If you click on the forum link of my last e-mail you will see I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE.

I shall continue using that sites forums and I will now post your totally unhelpful reply there so people realise you do not take matters of people being ripped off seriously at all.

THE EUROPEAN SITE OWNERS NO LONGER EXIST, stop pretending otherwise, and if they do exist e-mail me proof that they are responding to your e-mails, but I bet I wont get a reply.

Carry on misleading people Rebekah

Greetings from BlissBox:

On your behalf, we have forwarded your request to enquiries@blissbox.com which has information on orders placed before 15-Nov-10. Please continue to use customerservice@blissbox.com for questions about or orders placed on the new site.

This is the standard crap they e-mail customers who have yet to receive their orders.

Just a warning to everyone here there is a new company called adultdvdandvod.com who are the same old con merchants called Blissbox before they sold it to came link.

But Magnus claims otherwise odd how this was a comment here ages ago.

Magnus has been on the phone to me and given me a slight ear bashing, it appears I was slightly incorrect with the information I gave you. He will contact you directly and explain the situation, sorry if I caused any confusion, but I was mostly correct.

I should probebly stick to what I am best at which is watching copious amounts of porn!

but magnus says they wanted to have the catalogue with same layout to gain customer confidence LOL.

TWAT Magnus you need to be smarter than that. good I have a new address lawyers informed for fraud your company commited last year.

DO NOT TRUST THIS SO CALLED NEW COMPANY !!!!!!!!!!!!

Yet another rip-off merchant plying his con artistry.

Another one to add to our ever expanded list.

With scum like this around is it no wonder punters use file-sharing sites?
