More interesting facts, I think Lyndsey and my mate then joined a group called the Ian Mitchell Band, ex Bay City Roller. I don't think you young folk quite understand, at the time ie the early 1980's "Glam Rock" was the fashion for a lot of groups, like Kiss or Duran Duran, I'm sure the older folk on this forum could mention more. Yes, most of them looked like they'd had a head-on collision with a lorry containing Gary Glitter's wardrobe and 2 tons of Rimmel make-up, THIS DID NOT MEAN THEY WERE GAY!!! as some have already mentioned, the birds loved the look and the band members would get laid all the time. Unlike me who looked like:

No doubt a group like La Rox (Ben's group) would have all been stabbed to death, in todays intolerant, chav dominated, brutal society, if they'd dared set foot outside the front door, but in those days people were civilised and people could express themselves pretty much howsoever they wished without fear of too much ridicule.

Yes that must have been about time Lindsay Honey answered my ad in Stage. The Sketch I think did a two page spread of Videx with Lindsay, Sharon Daniels, Sarah Hope-Walker with Ian Mitchell fucking the girls in the BGs ex flat in Mayfair, which I got cheap at ?200 a day!

I seem to remember a photographer called Jo Wallak or something like that had a really nice Porsche 911 turbo, a green one and he hired a flat in my street, ie Lancaster Mews and I think he shot Lyndsey and maybe Ian in their full glam stuff with a some girl for a porn set?

The photographer was Mark Boudignon and the repoter was Pat Codd we had the center spread for two days running. Maybe it was the Star and not the Sketch. I remember a Danish phototograher who used to shoot from Colur Climax that was probably Jo.
