But not legally.
Some people claim benefit in the UK twice, and that is just as illegal.

And if he brought the children over here you would probably be moaning that they are a burden to our local services, e.g. schools & health...

Indeed he probably would - and justifiably so in a lot of cases. But you're missing his point altogether.

Coming here and working and paying taxes (and thus 'giving back' as well as just 'taking') is one thing. As is sending home money that you've earned yourself.

No problem with that.

But why should immigrants be allowed to claim state hand-outs to support their kids ***living abroad back in their home country***?!

Utterly bonkers. But I'm sure the governments of Poland and Romania love it, as it saves them from having to fork out. They probably think that the UK is the mug of Europe - and rightly so.

Because child benefit is usually a tax allowance, and he works here, so he pays his taxes here, so he gets the benefit here.

From the POV of the EU that should not be any different if he worked in London and had his kids in Glasgow.

Like I said - it's not so much the taxpaying ones who graft and pay their way that I object to (although I'm not so sure that it would be as easy for a UK citizen working in Poland or Romania to do the same there and claim benefits off them for kids living in the UK).

I do however have a problem with the scrounging, idle cunts who just come over and sign up for benefits, so-called "asylum seekers" and of course the illegals.
Fuck off you racist cut
Good heavens! I only called you a 'swiss loving rent boy' and you go insulting me! There's nothing derogatory about 'loving the Swiss' or about gay sex -it is 2007 you know!- so resorting to defaming my character was a vulgarism or the highest order!

I say 'MORE immigrants' too! But as is Sam's way, not too many religious idiots. Can we at least just ship in secularists? Oh, and you must make sure you don't settle them in places where there's already a burden on schooling and health services. Surely you understand that immigration can be both good and bad, depending on where they're located?

I'm off to watch Arsenal v Man U!
