Long ago there was an old lady living alone in poverty on t'moors. One night during a terrible storm she heard a faint weeping outside. Opening the door she could just make out a huddled form half buried in snow on the doorstep. It was an angel, and taking it inside she found it had a broken wing. She tended the injured messanger from heaven for weeks until she was well enough to fly. In gratitude the angel said that she would give the old woman the recipe to what they eat in heaven... Yorkshire pud.
